good price for an all inclusive trip?
My husband and I would be staying at Wyndham Rose Hotel in Montego Bay, it will be all inclusive and airfare is included in the price of $1900 for both of us. We would be going February 6-10. Does this seem like a good deal?

We fly out of Wisconsin. and it seems high to me. Yet it depends on when you travel also. School break times are high, it also seems that just in the last month the prices are soaring. Usually in a 5 star resort all inclusive is average $1,500.00 and if you go to a family resort. then cheaper because there are discounts for having children.

For four nights in Feb. from Boston, that price is pretty good, 'though not spectacular. Figure you're paying $250-$300/night for room, food and drink, and $350-$450 per plane ticket.
We stayed non-inclusive at the Wyndham and it wasn't easy to get to other restaurants, so AI is a good idea there.

Cyrstalandpat,
I'd like to piggy back a question on your post because my girlfriend is actually getting married on Feb 11 at the same resort that you and your husband will be staying at!
Did you end up booking for it? We were quoted for about the same price, and that's per person.
I am also glad to hear that going all-inclusive is better because of the restaurant proximity.
We will be flying out from Detroit, and I couldn't seem to find cheaper prices (I tried to book the airlines tickets and the hotel seperatedly).

To the person who was talking about flying out of Deroit, It is generally cheaper to fly out of Flint even though you usually transfer planes in Detroit. So are going through the same plane companies but the airfaire is cheaper because it is a smaller airport.
