Good news for Chicago from Cayman !
Good news for people in range of O'Hare airport...effective mid December, Cayman Airways is adding non-stop service from Chicago.
To celebrate this, hoteliers and other tourism people from Cayman are descending en masse on Chicago the week of Oct 20th to make sure all your Travel Professional know.
For my own resort (The Reef), we will be offering some great inclusive 3 and 4 night winter break packages...and I'm sure other Cayman properties will do similar.
Any questions on this or anything else to do with Cayman, feel free to post any questions for me, I'm kind of an unofficial Cayman ambassador
Oh, please don't email unless it is a really specific question, as answers to posts will allow all readers to gain information.

Cayman does have non-stop service on Continental from EWR (Newark)
AA offers one-stop (in Miami) service from JFK and BOS.
US Air offers non-stop service (with lots of inbound connections) from Charlotte
Delta offers non-stop service from Atlanta
Northwest from Minneapolis (seasonally, I think)
Air Canada from Toronto
British Airways from London
Cayman Airways has non-stop service from Miami, Houston (IAH), Fort Lauderdale (great for connecting with cheap fares on JetBlue, SouthWest etc)...and now Chicago.

Just got back from a 10-day break on the island. Glad they changed the plan and are flying out of O'Hare and not Midway as I originally heard. I won't fly anything else from now on. Sorry AA! I'd rather be on the ground in Cayman in 4 hours, rather than dashing through Miami airport.

Northside Sue...tell me about it ! I'm going to Chicago from Cayman Monday morning for the week to promote Cayman to area travel agents and have to hustle through immigration (as a "non-resident alien"
in time to get a connection that is 90 minutes from one flight to another.
Roll on non-stop flights in December
