Golf courses and beaches

I'd like to hear any suggestions re: where we can go in the Caribbean and enjoy not just beautiful beaches and scenery, but also play golf. Also, it would be great if there is an island which is easily accessible from Virginia. Our area is not a major airline hub.

DR has the best golf course in the Caribbean, Teeth of the Dog.
Barbados has some beautiful courses, nice beaches.
Bermuda has great golf courses and pink sand beaches.
Exumas, Sandals there has an amazing and scenic golf course and gorgeous beaches.

Provo in Turks and Caicos has one of the best beaches of the world and a decent golf course.

what is your budget....There is a championship course on Nevis...but the beaches are more of the darker/rougher sand....Nevis is a beautiful island, plantations and old caribbean charm.

Aruba has a decent GC and beautiful beaches. But it is v/ windy in Aruba which makes golf challenging.

Lots of golf courses, many linked to resorts, in Puerto Rico.

There's a golf course or two on St. Thomas.

If you have a healthy budget check out Sandy Lane on Barbados or Casa de Campo, Dominican Republic.

The Marriott on St. Kitts has a decent golf course.

There's a golf course on Antigua.
