In my many trips to St. Martin, never heard of a ferry from St. Martin to St. Kitts. From St. Kitts there's a ferry to Nevis, from St. Martin there's a ferry to Anguilla, St. Barth and Saba.

I can only assume maybe the mail boat? But it would take quite a few days, if not a week. There's a pretty big distance between the 2, and some major open waters.

Probably best bet is a flight--SXM has many flights to other Caribbean islands, but may require a connection. Try LIAT or Winnair.

I live on St Martin, and I have never heard of a ferry service to St Kitts from the island.

You can fly there, but it's a bit of a hassle.

Perhaps what you've heard about are references to the "holiday shopping trip" the Sea Hustler ferry makes around Christmas time (and maybe one other time during the year). It's a two day trip leaving from Basseterre one day and comiing back to St. Kitts the next day. You cannot book a one-way passage. FYI - the trip crosses 60 miles of open water and can be a bit rough.

Other that that there is NO ferry service between St. Martin and St. Kitts.
