Handmade wood and straw items. A beautiful bowl basket made by the plati lady under the almond tree in the square at Georgetown, Exuma. She wove it with dyed red, blue and green palmetto palm leaf strips. Still use it in the kitchen to hold fruit. Also like a 1 1/2 ft. high angel carved by skilled man in Straw Market in Nassau. It was a "B...ch" toting back in suitcase, but worth it. Another carved wooden item from St. Croix, with three fish around a fan coral, sits next to it by our jacuzzi. Robert

I love to pick up pieces of sea glass and small shells on the beach. When I get home these go around a candle in a hurricane lamp.

If high quality, relatively low price souvenir coins in destination-relevant packaging were available, might that be attractive to souvenir buyers?
