Estate Lindholm - Best Rooms?

Hi there! I am booking a trip to St. John and was hoping for advice on which room to stay in at Estate Lindholm? I've heard some of the Garden View rooms also have views of the harbor - does anyone know which view is best? Are the Harbor view rooms worth the extra $$$?

Can't wait to go - looking forward to hearing about the rooms!

HI,
We have stayed at Estate Lindholm three times. The website has pictures of all the rooms and views but as an fyi we have stayed in Cinamon which is a garden view and we did have a water view.I think that Caneel is right next to is and also has a water view. We were once in Coral which is a newer building and it had no view. Also, we were once in Maho when cinamon was not available and it had a small water view through the trees. I would request Cinamon and if not available ask Lauren about the view from Caneel. I think it is the same. You will love Estate Lindhom. It is so beautiful and very convenient to town. We always get a car but I know there were people there who did not. They have coolers, beach chairs, and you can get ice. The breakfast is simple but more than adequate. The website does not do the gardens and view from the small pool justice. I absolute LOVE this place. Ask any questions you want.

Hi again,
I just realized you asked about whether water views were worth it. I guess it depends on how important views are to you. We were also in Honeymoon (water view) for one night and I liked the room but honestly the view was not that great. There is a lot of very lush vegetation everywhere and that sometimes blocks the view. I think there are harbor view rooms closer to the water with no obstruction. If views are super important just call Lauren and ask her what she recommends. Lauren and Brion are very friendly and accomodating and want you to enjoy your visit. Did I mention the honor bar?
