Wed is heaviest influx of cruiseships into Ochie, therein to Dunn's River, tho it's conga-line city much of rest of week. You might enjoy Mayfields Falls in Dolphin Head Mts about 40 min from MoBay considerably more. Not a rock climb but a gentler series of falls
and bamboo bridges in wilder mountain country that feels more Jamaica, less touristic.

Actually, I`ll be staying in Negril so would the YS FALLS be a better choice than Mayfields? My wife and I have been to Dunn`s many years ago but we will have another couple with us this on this trip and they may want to see Dunn`s River. Thanks for your help.

Mayfields is closer to Negril than YS which is about 2 hours from Negril via
South Coast A1 road to Black River then
inland. If you go early in am, you can also avoid most of daytrippers. Combining YS with a trip out to Pelican Bar, a mangrove stilt house/actually 2 now, about 1/4 mile offshore is a good
daytrip, with a possible stop at Peter Tosh Mausoleum in Belmont and lunch/dinner at Oliver's or Culloden Cafe in Whitehouse en route back.
