Dream Caribbean destination wedding location
I'm trying to help a friend select the perfect destination wedding location in the Caribbean. There is absolutely NO budget so anything goes on that front! The couple is willing to pay for accomodations of the guests, which may be around 100. I'd love to hear any suggestions - Thanks!!

One hundred guests and absolutely NO budget! All I can say is now that's a wedding I'd love to get an invitation. If there's really no budget, it would be hard to beat Necker Island in the British Virgin Islands (http://www.virgin.com/subsites/necker/).

Renting a private island is an option I had not considered for them, but sounds wonderful! I'll try to do some research on what is available in the Caribbean....or if anyone out there has suggestions, I'd love to hear from you too
I've done quite a bit of traveling to the Caribbean, but not on an unlimited budget! Its hard to find info for those exclusive places like this couple is seeking.

Necker Island, wonderful as it is, can only accomodate about 20 people as overnight guests so unless some of the guests are willing to stay elsewhere your friend may want to select a different location.
For upscale resorts that can accomodate the whole group look at the following:
Cap Jaluca, Malliouhana or Cusinart on Anguilla;
Casa De Campo, Dominican Republic;
Peter Island, BVI's;
Little Dix Bay, Virgin Gorda;
Caneel Bay, USVI's;
Sandy Lane, Barbados;
Four Seasons, Nevis;
Jumby Bay or Carlisle Bay, Antigua;
Petit St. Vincent, Grenadines to name a few.
There are quite a number of other suitable places. Each island is different so your friend should do a bit of research to determine what type of island experience they would to give their guests.

Thank you for those suggestions! I know they'll have professionals to help with the planning, I'm hoping to join the bride-to-be on an island scouting excursion so I'm thrilled to be able to recommend a few as a personal friend. I got married in Jamaica, but if I millions to spend on a wedding, I would have been asking you all these questions a few years ago!

This site mentions large villas, and includes private islands (see top of web page):
