Day pass at the Atlantis

The Atlantis offers a day pass for $88 (adventure package) to be able to use the waterslides and pool and beach areas. Is this worth it? Has anyone ever done this. We are cruising in for the day and thought this might be a good way to spend the day.

That would depend on how badly you want to experience the Atlantis. The pools can get crowded, the slides have lines, etc. That said, we love the Atlantis. The aquariums and The Dig are greast and so is the beach.
If that $88 per person?? Does that include any food?

Nope.. doesn't include food.. just access to the pools, slides and beach.
The Pass are not always available and will based on the hotel capacity of any given day.

$88 is pretty steep for a water park.

A one-day ticket to Disney World is $67.00, so it does seem a bit steep. However, my kids loved it, and they have just doubled the size of the water park area. I thought the whole area was beautiful. There is a lazy river pool, and lagoon with sharks and rays. Some of the lines for the waterslides do get long. Depending on how many of you there are, you might consider renting a room at the comfort suites across the street. This will give you access to the pools for 2 days, and may be less money. If it were my family, I would do it at that price. This is a link for a map of the resort, http://atlantis.com/pdf/map.pdf .

I scond the idea of getting a room for one day at the Comfort Suites. Then you'll even have a place to shower and rest, etc.

Just checked the prices for a room at the Comfort Suites. Over $300.. and not able to check in till 3pm. We arrive by cruise in the early am and leave around midnight. Not worth it to get a room to get the hotel services. Good thought thou. Any other suggestions?

How many people are in your party? It still could be cheaper getting a room. Even though official check in (meaning your room is ready) isn't until 3:00, you could probably go through the check in proces and get your ID.

All rooms either at Atlantis or Comfort Suites are for a maximun of 4 ppl, unless otherwise stated (suites etc).. If you have 4 ppl, then $300 for a room would be about right.. don't forget all the taxes, fees and charges for a room though.. it's adds up quickly.
CS will allow you to check in early .. and get your bracelets to Atlantis.. you can even check out at the same time, if you don't intent to use the room.

The $88 does include the DIGS, but it's not guaranteed. During high season, day passes will likely NOT be available.

Regarding rates at the Comfort Suites--Anyone who has a kroger (grocery store) card can mention this when you call for a rate and get a decent size discount off your room--makes the comfort suites an even greater deal!
