Atlantis Day Pass

We are going on a cruise and would like to spend a little time at Atlantis. Is there such thing as a day pass? If there is, would it be worth it to have the whole day there?

No day pases anymore-you have to get a room-if traveling with a family, you may have to get 2 rooms. The cheapest room rate that allows access to water stuff is Comfort Suites-and it tends to sell out.

Actually Atlantis has many different day passes, all except the Aquarium pass are available based on the days occupancy rate.

The DIGS aquarium pass is $35pp and allows you only access to the aquarium and predators lagoon,

The Beach Pass is $65 and allows you access to the beach in a particular area for non-guests. This does NOT include the pools/or slides.

And the AQUA PARK full access pass which is $105 pp and included access to all pools and slides except the Cain Pool and the quiet pool near the Reef.

The Marina Village, Casino, Lobbies and shopping archades are open to the public free of charge.

At $105 Per person for a full day pass, it would be cheaper for a family to get a room at the Comfort Suites.

Many cruisers buy day passes to Atlantis. I'd bet it's the single most popular excursion you can book on a ship (they always sell out). But they are very expensive. The advice about renting a room at Comfort Suites is good, but it's only a savings if there are four of you. If less, then you do better on the excursion from your ship.

If you are looking to save money and just go to a nice beach, then you have 2 options. You can walk over to the Hilton hotel and buy a $15 pass to use the beach there, or you can take a cab out to Cable Beach and pay about the same to use one of the beaches out there.

A lot of families choose Atlantis because of the water park. But food is extremely expensive and extremely mediocre.

There's also a public part of Cabbage Beach on Paradise Island, and you can also go there. I would never pay a fee to simply use the beach at Atlantis.
