In Brief
Canadian worker killed in Caribbean
A Canadian construction worker preparing to head home was stabbed to death this week in his hotel room in St. Maarten, a hotel official said yesterday.

Police in the Dutch Caribbean possession said that Denis Gagnon, 40, formerly of the Montreal suburb of Longueil, was stabbed repeatedly with a weapon they have yet to find.

His body was found on Wednesday morning at the 600-room Maho Beach Resort and Casino, which he helped rebuild after a hurricane wrecked it.

Commissioner T. M. Peterson, who commands the St. Maarten detective bureau, said investigators lacked a suspect and a reason for the killing.

They had yet to reach Mr. Gagnon's relatives.

Hannah, the ultimate garbage troll. This post is actually bordering on the legal action side.

You note that Hannah posts this as a "scare post". Also note that it's already 2 months old. Note that she also didn't post the resolution. He was stabbed by his roomate in a dispute.

Hannah crawl back under your rock!

Not at all a scare post. Safety is a major issue for many people. Nice to know the St. Maarten murder was solved.
