Cocodimama - Info Needed!!!
I'm hoping someone who has been to Eleuthera and specifically to Cocodimama will reply to this message. I'm considering going there for 10 days in December and need more details before I book it.
1. How is the food there? What types of dinners do they serve? What does breakfast consist of?
2. Would you recommend renting a car or not? We're low maintenance and really just want to lay on the beach and not do much else...
Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!!

I have not stayed at Cocodimama,,,,,yet, but hope to soon.
I have been told that the food is very good, the couple who run the hotel are Italian, and that the restaurant there is the best on island.
Eleuthera is VERY laid back not much to do other than relax. If you want to rent a car and see some of the island, you might enjoy a trip down to Govenours Harbour and further south to Tarpun Bay, which is becoming a sort of artist colony. The two well known artists there passed away not long ago, Lord McMillan Hughes and Mal Flanders. Lord McMillan Hughes built a sort of castle and you can see it from Queens Highway, not sure if it is open for tours, but it's a very cool house.
You also might enjoy a day on Harbour Island, which is north of Cocodimama. Some good restaurants there as well and a bit of shopping and the island is beautiful.
Have a great time.

Another board to post your question on would be the Eleu.net board ( http://pub9.bravenet.com/forum/693744326 ).
