i'm planning on going in the end of Dec. to the caribbean w/ my wife and do not know which of these islands to go to - Cayman Islands vs. Curacao vs. Aruba? does anyone have any comments for these islands.<BR>thanx

I would look and see what kind of package deals you are able to get. On Curacao you would want to rent a car for at least a day and tour the island. Personally, I would say that there is way more to do on Curacao and way more to see. On GC, it's not worth it to rent a car. The bus is very reliable as are the taxi's. Haven't been to Aruba yet.

I can't comment on Curacao,but I've been to Grand Cayman and Aruba. My husband and I loved Grand Cayman. Even though it is expensive is a beautiful island and 7 mile beach is awesome! We went to Aruba last June and was terribly disappointed. The beaches were not near as nice and the water is not very clear. Aruba is very deserty with alot of stray dogs. Some people love Aruba but we would never return. I've heard Curacao is very nice. Good luck in whereever you choose. Lisa S.

What Aruba where u in Lisa? The beaches are great in Aruba. Palm, Eagle or Baby beach. If 100ft looking down and no waves, what do you call better! You can also rent a car in Aruba as you can in Curacao and see lots of great places, yes Aruba is a desert but what great sites it has. The restaurants are out of this world.
