Caribe Hilton

Has anyone ever been to the Caribe Hilton in Puerto Rico? It looks good on line, but you never can tell

As long as you request an ocean front room away from construction a block away...its fine.

Great beach-- J. LO and hubby stay there.

You'll need rental car to travel island.

Shuttle takes you to old san juan...about a mile away..great walk but not for faint of heart.

But if you simply need R&R its great.

Normandie Hotel next door has very upscale nightlife.

I suggest Sheraton Old San Juan.....walkable to everything.

Want intimate and eclectic?
Gallery Inn the best.

Want a great villa that's hiostric?
Only place is Caleta Realty:

My wife and I used their services.
Fantastic.

I'm concerned about your construction comment. How recently were you there?
Other than that it sounds like what we're looking for - a relaxing beach vacation but with other stuff close by when we want to leave the beach. Is there a casino on premises?

There is no casino on premises but you wont miss it. I agree with getting an ocean view room.
Their pool area is very nice I love their bar at night, it is a good choice.

Yes there is construction in area...but the worst is over. Doing exterior work now well away from Caribe Hilto ocean front....

I maintain a business office condo in Old San Juan that I visit once a month.

If you need a casino---with a beach...
Across the bridge from Caribe Hilton is a Marriot and other beach front properties.....but for a long expanse of beach you'll need to go to condado or isle verde...both a 10 minute taxi ride.......again...marriot courtyard is there, el san juan, and a host of others depending on your budget...
