Cable Beach-Radisson or Wyndham Resort??

Next month a friend and I will be spending a week in Nassau for a friends wedding. We are limited to staying in the Cable Beach Area. We are torn between the Radisson Cable Beach and Wyndham Resort/Casino. We are looking forward to spending a great deal of time lying on the beach but also would like to watch our pennies. I've heard that the Wyndham has a fairly sad little beach area while the Radisson has a beautiful walk out from their pool area. If we stayed at the Wyndham would the radisson beach be accessible to us? I've read in another post that there is a walkway connecting the two hotels so radisson guests have access to the casino. Could the radisson staff shoo us away from their beach area or are beaches free to use by the public (never been to a beach before so I have no idea!). I'd appreciate any info people could give regarding these hotels. We want to make the best choice before booking.

Thanks!

There are three major hotels all in a row, and connected by walkways. Radisson, Wyndham and Nassau Beach Hotel. If you stay at Wyndham, you will have signing priveleges at Nassau Beach Hotel, which has a long expansive beach and plenty of lounge chairs.
You can certainly walk from beach to beach along the three of them, and pool to pool without being stopped. You just won't have signing priveleges or towel service at Radisson if your not a guest.

Signing Priviledges are what exactly? Borrowing chairs and towels?

Using those three beaches and pools doesn't sound so bad if we are getting a good room rate. Thanks for the info!

I stayed at the Wyndham in January. While we enjoyed the experience, I would not stay there again. The bathroom was very leaky, and the beach was very small. Beautiful, but small. The Radisson had a much better expanse of beach, IMO.

All three hotels are all very close and there are alot of places to eat right there. If you are watching your pennies, stay at the Nassau Beach Hotel, it is owned by the Wyndham, so by signing privilages it means you can eat at any of the restaurants and charge it to your room. The best restaurant in the immeidate area is Johnny Canoe's, good food mostly Bahamian, fish, conch, etc, and they do a Junkanoo at least once a week.

Also at the Wyndham, they do a General Manager's party with free munchies, once a week, check for day.

Wherever you stay you have full access to the beach, they are public beaches in the Bahamas. Also you can use both pools at the Wyndham or the Nassau Beach.

Have fun and if you need any other info, let me know.

We've stayed at the Radisson 2 times
and are going again in August of this
year..we love the place..the beach is
beautiful, as are the pools and the grounds of the resort. It has become a bit "tired" looking on the inside, however, but I understand some improvements are taking place. We spend most of our time lying on the beach and it's perfect for us..

Here's some pictures from our visit last year..

I stayed at the Nassau Beach Hotel in Sept., although it needed some updating, overall it was still nice and would stay there again for the cost. You do have access to all 3 beaches, and NBH has the most amount of room and more quiet!

Out of these three hotels which one has the best drinks at the beach bar. Are drinks served to you on the beach? Which one has the least amount of kids?

we've booked 6 nights at the Nassau Beach hotel based on what you all have said. thanks for the feedback....we decided to go with the NBH since its cheaper and we don't really care what it looks like inside since we planning on spending most our time out on the beach (keeping our fingers crossed that it doesn't rain!!)
