Budget Accommodation

Hi Everyone. I'm planning a trip to St Lucia during the summer of 2016 and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations for a cheap place to stay. Proximity to a beach would be a plus.

Cheap for one person is expensive for another. To give good advice, people need specific numbers or at the least a range.

Ideally less that $20 U.S. a night. I'll be willing to spend more if the place has any sort of location that's REALLY worth it.

Haha. Not being facetious at all. I'll be travelling through St Lucia, Martinique and Dominica over the course of 2 months and would like to do it as cheaply as possible. The lowest I'm getting on airbnb is $20 so I'm wondering if there's anything cheaper.

You have got to be kidding. Even on airbnb $20 would probably be very sketchy.

hey goodnight. Unfortunately with just 20us you are not likely to get a place especially not close to a beach. How many nights are you looking forward into?

I saw some Airbnb's for $35-45. That was the cheapest and they were not on the beach. Looks like that may be the best you could do.

I actually found 2 places for $20 and they seemed decent enough. Basically just apartments near Castries.
The $35-$45 price-range has a lot more options so depending on how I plan my spending on the other islands, I could afford to stay somewhere a bit more expensive.
