Buccaneer help please

I am thinking of the Buccaneer in March. Other messages seem to indicate that it is a good choice. Are there too many kids there for a newly married couple who want to chill. Also, people talk about splurging on the ocean view rooms. While I am considering it, are the regular rooms ok?

We stayed at the Buccaneer a couple of springs ago, in May. I don't remember seeing many kids but the place is pretty spread out so they could have been there and I wouldn't have known. We had one of the ocean front rooms down by the beach. It was nice to be able to just walk out and go snorkeling and the rooms are roomy and pretty quiet. I would get an ocean front room again if I went back but all the rooms seemed very nice with good views. I think you will have a great time. Try the Top Hat for dinner some night.

We stayed there in May and I don't remember a bunch of kids either. Believe me if there were a lot I'd remember!
We also stayed in one of the ocean front rooms and it was really nice. The regular rooms are on the hillside and it can be a hike up to them from the beach.

My husband and I just got home from a 5 day stay at the Buccaneer...we loved it! Had an oceanfront room and liked it alot, you have your own little stone patio which is a good place to chill out and gaze at the water...we didn't see that many kids, maybe 6 or so altogether, the place is spread out so it probably would not ever seem crowded (however, we were there in off-season) the snorkeling at Mermaid Beach was excellent according to my husband, the food at their Terrace restaurant was also very good, lovely view...I do believe you and your wife will enjoy it!
We got married at the Buccaneer in April of 98 and really loved the place. It is worth the splurge for the oceanfront room and i don't think its actually that much more. The food was good esp. Dino's I think you can't go wrong staying there esp if you play golf. Its also convenient to Christianstad and the East end.
