Anyone have advise on the best places to bring teens on a Caribbean or Mexico vacation?

Shari,
Cozumel, Mexico.
It's safe, lots to see and do, great outdoor activities, wonderful restaurants, good shopping, hilarious people-watching, world class diving and snorkeling, stuff they can do on their own which means a minimum of, "oh Mom" and eye rolling.
(Plus, you'll have a great time too while they are off exploring

Thank you, I am interested too-----is there any accomodations you recommend? Are direct flights common there like Cancun? We are coming from Minneapolis.

My favorite place to stay - 10 times now! - is the Presidente Intercontinental. Great snorkeling right off the beach in front of the hotel.
Some airlines do have direct flights. Usually they're just a bit more expensive than to Cancun, but not much. I usually book on my own to Cancun and then on Aeromexico/Mexicana over to Cozumel. (It's only a 20 minute flight over and runs $70 to $120 round trip.)

My kids favorite place to visit is Hawaii. now 17 and 14 and having travelled many places, there is nothing they'd rather do! If you can get there consider it. We love Kauai but kids also love Maui!
