Best hidden gems in Bermuda

I'd would welcome recommendations for the following:

best inexpensive to reasonable (not most expensive) restaurants

best beaches without the crowding of too many people, and best seashell gathering beach?

best spots to watch sunrise and sunset, any suggestions on where to get a cocktail at sunset that has a beautiful view?

best gardens to view (if there are any in first week of March?)

best tour guide/way to see the island

THANKS!

Finding a bad view in Bermuda will be a challenge. But for a great sunset view try Blu at the Belmont Golf Club. For sunrise my favorite place would have to be somewhere on the South Shore, probably Church Bay.
No seashells to speak of, but gorgeous pink beaches.
In March crowded beaches shouldn't be a problem. Go to Horseshoe Bay and start walking, you will be alone in very quick time. The South Shore beaches are simply gorgeous.
Inexpensive to moderate restaurants:
HogPenny Pub
Frog and Onion
Lemon Tree (lunch)
The Spot
La Trattoria
also ask Carole for "current" information. She is a fabulous resource.
I would go to the Botanical Gardens and check the "Bermuda this week" guide (available at the airport) for any private garden tours which may be available.

It's been awhile since we've visited Bermuda but one of my favorites is Palm Groove Gardens. Actually a private garden that the owner opens to the public Monday through Thursday. Not sure how convenient it is with public transportation.

moraben, y'all are not going to have to share anything with tourists - you are going to have Bermuda to yourselves next week! It is NOT going to be lying-on-the-beach weather. Today, I am in jeans and a thick sweater, the wind is gale-force and the rain is coming down. (www.weather.bm) Bring raincoats, not umbrellas - too windy for umbrellas and the rain isn't steady, so you can still get out and about in between showers. I actually find the beaches kind of romantic in this weather. Anyway, I digress. Back to your questions!!
Restaurants not already mentioned, Bistro J, Pearl for Sushi, Specialty Inn for diner-style food and good pizza if you're in that direction (on bus route 1) Cafe 10 (tapas, small plates, wine bar) Mad Hatter's (not cheap but a great little restaurant)Cafe Gio in St George's.
Beaches -the South Shore between Warwick Long Bay and Horseshoe Bay is walkable, pretty parks in between the beaches, it will be isolated. Bring water.
Sunsets - the patio at the bar at The Reefs resort.
Gardens - as above.
Tours - a taxi with a blue flag (actually a round sticker) on the hood. Make sure to verify prices -we've had an incident or two of over-charging lately.
Seriously, bring wet-weather gear, cozy clothes. Even on nice days this time of year, jeans and a t-shirt will be fine. Expect 50's and 60's, but they feel cooler thanks to the wind and humidity.

I forgot to add Ft. Hamilton - very pretty park with a wonderful view of Hamilton harbor and a fantastic tropical-plant-filled moat around it (you just have to find the hidden stairs to get down there). And there's a new coffee bar on Front St called Juice and Beans with chairs in the windows so you can people watch - and it's got WIFI!!
