Can anyone recommend a wonderful all inclusive resort. I don't care where it is located, as long as sunshine and beach are nearby.

Iberostar Paraiso del Mar south of Cancun. Lots of sun and beach fronting the resort. Buffet but with 6 specialty restaurants - the seafood dishes in the Mediterranean one are great. The rooms are spectacular, large, well appointed with a huge shower with 2 shower heads. In room safe with key code so no safe key to have to carry around. Huge, huge huge pool with a tremendous waterfall at one end and 3 swim up bars. This is the one for you.

Yes, can't afford that one but from what I've heard it does sound quite something. Probably one of the few ai's along the Mayan Riveria where they serve you your drinks to your beach lounger! Also no buffet, all a la carte meals.

Couples Negril or Swept Away.<BR>The others mentioned in Mexico are also wonderful.<BR>El Dorado Royal is also a favorite if you just want peace and quiet and not a lot of activity.

Skip the Divi in Aruba - horrible! The Jamaica Renaissance Grande in Ocho Rios or the Melia Paradisus in Punta Cana. We would return to both of those!

We really enjoyed Sandals Negril. Great beach there and good rooms and food and drinks. Regardless of all the Sandal's naysayers on this board (I think they all work for Superclubs) we found it to be excellent value for the money and would never hesitate to return.
