Barbados experience

Hi,
I'm going to Barbados for the first time and have gotten so many helful suggestions from the forum. Thanks everyone!

So many postings have said that the Oisten's Fish Fry is a must do. It sounds exactly like what i would love to experience! However, my flight only gets in on Sat morning and I'm staying only through Wednesday. Does anyone have any suggestions as to another restaurant or event I can go to between Sat and Wed for a true Barbados experience!

Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

PLEASE go to the CLIFF. AMAZING!! You will love it, beautiful views as well. Lois knows everything about Barbados. Aske her anything. SHe also has a great information packet she could email you. She did this for me a year ago, and she was SO GREAT with all her restaurant recommendations and places to see. (Thanks again, Lois!!)

Yea! Lois emailed me her Insiders Tips yesterday and I've already made a reservation at the Cliff and the Tides.

Thanks again Lois! I'm looking around for a car rental company but I think I might just end up going with Stoutes like she suggested!

Glad to hear my tips are helpful.

I'll be honest--I wanted to do the Fish Fry in Oistins myself, but we didn't make it there. We did walk around that area on the last night of our stay in Barbados, however, when we stayed at Little Arches for one night. From what I saw, it was a pretty grimy area, and after having some of the local fare at other locations, I was ok with not actually making it to the Fish Fry.

I would highly recommend the Tides in Holetown, in addition to the Cliff.

How was your trip? We're going in a couple of weeks- -planning Oisten's and the Cliff. Can you suggest any other restaurants or fun activities?
