Eat gourmet or you wind up in a buffet line. Breakfast buffet in the Royal Tower marketplace was very good. Lots of selection.
Dinners we likedahamian Clusteak) This was our favorite.
Villa D Este-Italian We had a very good meal here.
Five Twins-Very expensive-Continental food-Not worth it. We were practically ignored. Food took forever. I would not recommend it.
We ate at the buffet in the Coral Tower and found the food mediocre. This would be good for a family with kids that wanted casual with lots of food choices. Not for us. We had better.
My parents dined at the fish restaurant that was surrounded by water. I can't remember the name, but my mother did not like her meal.
Nightlife- Can't tell you we went with our kids. There is gambling of course.
Happy 40th. I posted to you on the other thread. We went for my 40th last year...Time is flying by! Enjoy.

I did not try to make those smileys so I don't know where they came from. They were meant to be the letter B

Our favorite restaurant right at the Atlanis is Villa D'Este. We also like the Bahamian Club and Fathoms. I agree that Five Twins was not worth it.
Right across the street is Anthony's Caribbean Grille if you want some reasonaably priced casual dining. We also went to a good restaurant at Club Land D'Or which is right next door to ATlantis. I forget the name. Quick, inexpensive good breakfast down the street at the News STand at the Hurricane Hole shopping center.

My question is why go at all as an adult. Kids liked it for two days but I hated it. Bad food, expensive, busy dirty yuk

MSQ,
Just because you hated it doesn't mean all adults do. We too went without children and had a great time at Atlantis. I've never been to a resort where food wasn't expensive. Yes, it's busy and if people go knowing that, then deal with it. I did not see any place that was dirty. Are you sure you were at the same Atlanis??

The one with the big fish tank? We had a two bedroom suite in the Royal Tower that had basic Holiday in decorating.

The deck area around the pools had that sticky amusment park feel to them, and the beach felt like a walk through a mall.

I do not play in tha casino so that had no appeal. I am used to simple old school caribbean islands, and you are right I tryed the big resort thing for the kids and now have done it and don't have to go back.
