Aruba Hotels/need car?
We are going to Aruba in early November. We have never been there and appreciate any guidance in choosing a hotel. We'd like something that's not in the midst of the hustle & bustle. Something comfortable, with a pool, nice restaurant, great beaches, clean, 3 or 4 star. Price range no more than $200/night. We're in our early 40s. And do we need to rent a car? Thanks!!!!

We stayed at the Wyndham on our honeymoon. It was amazing, great restaurants, gorgeous beach, not loud at all, wonderful location! A close walk to the Hyatt and Radisson. Beautiful, you will not regret it but you will regret it if you don't stay here or Radisson, or Hyatt!

We didn't rent a car. We took a taxi a few times to go out to eat and walk around a bit. But our days were spent close to the hotel and the way it's set up, you can walk from one hotel to the other. (we ate at the hyatt one night and just walked)

I recently stayed at the Radisson. I don't think a rental car is needed. We took a taxi into town when we wanted something different, not a problem at all. Radisson has a few choices for meals, two pools and drink/food service on the beach. The rooms are comfortable and clean. I don't know if it is the island as a whole or just the climate control at the Radisson, but if you left your patio door open for just a few minutes, everything in the room would be damp. It was a great trip.
