What are you interested in? Water sports? Casino? High rise or low rise? Lots of action? Night life? More seclusion (relative to Aruba, of course!)?

I'm looking at Aruba for a vacation this summer. Mostly looking for a beautiful beach, watersports, nightlife at a very nice hotel (clean with great service)

I have heard a lot about the Radisson, Hyatt and Whydham.. but not sure which to choose....

From my visit there, Aruba struck me as a place where you want a very nice hotel, since the rest of the island is pretty poor. I went to the north side to scuba and was quite distressed by the poverty.

Anyway, I would recommend Hyatt - amazing pools - they have nice water slides - great beach, fabulous food.

Didn't visit any otheres, but I really liked the Hyatt!

In the high-rise area Hyatt (centrally located), Marriott (off set a bit from the other hotels so feels more private), Radisson (centrally located and totally redone within the last 5 years). Also recommend the Wyndham.

In the low-rise area the Bucuti is perfect for couples. Not a fancy hotel but the service makes you feel so special. Also very rarely will you see families with children as there are no kids programs. The beach is huge and never crowded.

Many of the packages come with buffet breakfast included. You can see pricing for packages at http://www.travelunlimited.com.

We just returned (6/1) from 5 days at the Wyndham. Liked it very much; would recommend it. It's one of the high rises. There was a casino, and we had a very good dinner the one night we ate in the hotel at Pago Pago.

Hyatt Regency Aruba is great ! My husband I honeymooned there in Sept 2001 and my parents have stayed there 3x. Great hotel restaurants, service, pools, casino, and beach accomodations. Be sure to ask about the romantic sunset service offered at the hotel. Also, some of our fave dining places were Papiamentos (sp?)ask for a table by the candlelit pool, Chez Maltilde, ask to be seated in the back, and the golf clucan't recall the name)ask to sit outside on terrace. Hope you enjoy Aruba as much as we did!
