Antigua Sandals
OK, we get the idea that Sandals is a great place to go in Antiqua. To be sure, we are in are early 50's (but young at heart). Will we be the 'old' people staying at the resort. In other words, is there a good mix of ages there? Thanks for the help.

Allen, I just returned from my weddingmoon at SA about 2 months ago. The resort is great, we fell in love with this place. Most people seem to be on their honeymoon but there were people we met that were not and also that were older. It is a wonderful place and anyone of any age can enjoy it. This resort has a great laid back/romantic charm to it but at the same time offering plenty to do. Since most people are on their honeymoon, everyone pretty much keeps to themselves. I don't see how anyone (of any age) couldn't enjoy this place.

Allen,

We went on our honeymoon in October and are in our early 30's. We met a great group of people who ranged in age from mid 60's down to early 20's, and we all had a blast together.

It's a great property whose biggest advantage is plenty of space for alone time and also plenty of opportunity for social activities.

You can really do either, which to us was the perfect vacation, since we tended to bounce back and forth between wanting to spend time alone and with new-found friends.

As for the resort itself, I can't think of any reason anyone would be displeased. Clean, beautiful, and plenty of activity options.

Of course this is just my opinion, but the reasons I like GB better, are: only 60 rooms and we like to walk straight out of our room onto the beach, no annoying beach vendors allowed on the beach, a long deserted beach to walk along, no bugs in rooms AND yes it is much less expensive if you book with the right people.
