Anguilla Hotels?

We are trying to decide between Frangapani or Cuisinart? Or is there anything similar that we should check out also? Thanks for any information.

I'd choose Cuisinart over Frangipani but others will say the opposite. It really depends on what type of experience you ar e seeking and your budget.

If Cusinart is in your budget range also look at the newly renovated/reopened Malliouhana, Viceroy and Cap Juluca.

So Cap Juluca is newly renovated? That's good, I was reading some posts that said it was really old looking and needed a renovation. It sounds like it is a lot more though than Cuisinart? Anyone have any other ideas? RoamsAround, curious of the reasons why you would choose Cuisinart? Thanks so much for the information!

No, you misunderstood. Malliouhana is the resort that is the "newly renovated and recently reopened" resort. That modifier did not apply to the other two resorts I mentioned. It underwent an $80 million renovation and just reopened about year ago.

FYI - Viceroy is fairly new - opened in 2009, I think.

Cap Juluca has been around for years and since I have been to CJ in several years I can't comment on whether or not it is "old looking" today.

Thanks for clarifying that, but I'm still wondering what there is about Cuisinart that you like? I'm leaning that way but not ever having been there I don't really have a lot to go on. Thank you for any information you can give me.

I've stayed at both Cuisinart and Frangipani. Cuisinart is a little nicer in terms of accommodations but I definitely prefer the Frangipani location. I like Meads Bay beach more than Rendezvous Bay and Frangipani is within walking distance to a few very nice restaurants and within a short drive to many more. Neither my husband nor I play golf so personally I would choose Frangipani based on location.

I meant to say that either choice is perfectly lovely and I'm sure you will have a wonderful trip at either resort. Neither is a bad choice.

Thank you so much for the information. So if you didn't care about walking to different places, which beach is less populated and is one prettier than the other? Thanks so much.
