all-inclusive resorts
trying to find a web page that lists "hot deals" on all-inclusive resorts in the caribbean. Anyone know where I might look? Also, anyone got any places they liked or didn't? Looking for one that caters to couples and/or families

Hi - we're planning our 8th all-inclusive trip! Can't help on the hot deal thing but can tell you:
Aruba - Holiday Inn - loved the island and the beach the resort is on. Hotel grounds are no hell but rooms are large and very clean. But staying here gives you good price and access to all the other hotels on Palm Beach. Excellent place to go.
Antigua - we stayed at Club Antigua, now Odessey and it sounds a lot better (room wise) than when we were there. Good food, huge huge beach and good site seeing.
Cozumel - twice - stayed at the Diamond which is now the Allegro and at Club Cozumel Caribe. Love, love, love Cozumel. Both resorts had their good points but the Caribe is more for your diving enthusiasts.
Playa del Carmen - stayed at the RIU Yucatan - loved, loved, loved, loved it. See numerous postings on Latin America board (mostly from me, eh!)
St. Kitts - Jack Tar - our first trip, very nice island, wonderful people and good site seeing. Good food on the resort and a casino and golf.
St. Lucia - Club now Odessey. Lots of site seeing. The food was just okay but you didn't go hungry. The renovations sound like the place is much better.
Any of these are good for families (kids clubs at all I think) or couples (the kids are usually in kids clubs so you can ignore them).

Toronto-based Hola Sun Holidays (http://www.holasunholidays.com) books lots of all inclusives to Cuba. Prices are generally lower than those to the other islands, and it's definitely something different!

It is Apple Vacations has "Hot Deals".
We booked an Apple Package through our travel agent, Catherine, who is at Vacations By Victoria - you can call them at (212) 740-4601 or e-mail them at [email protected].
I have used many agencies and done a lot of research - I found Vacations by Victoria to be the most knowledgeable about the Caribbean by far, and the most helpful. We got great deals over the years through them.
We're heading to Martinique next month! Can't wait - we will definitely post a trip report when we get back!
