I am planning our trip to Paradise Island - Comfort Suites. What is the best way to get from the sirport to the hotel? I also have a toddler in tow.

If you get a package, your transfers are usually included, if not, taxi's are available outsite the airport arrivals gate. They charge about $24 for 2 people plus $3 for each additional person (not sure about a toddler)to Paradise Island. This is the only transportation available, unless you get a private limo. <BR>Taxi's will be readily available to take you back to the airport when ready. Have fun!

A word of caution: if you take a taxi from the airport, make sure it's a registered Bahamian driver. With respect to the Haitians, the Bahamas has a horrendous problem with both illegal and legal Haitians. many start up their own private taxi services, and will charge you an exhorbitant price. The RBPF recently arrested overr 50 Haitians off of Prince Edward's Wharf entering the country via makeshift and dangerously overloaded boat. You will see local Bahamians who work with the cab company at the curb outside the airport; they will steer you toward a registered taxi with a flat, fixed fare to Paradise Island. Just don't jump into the nearest cab! Robert
