9 Beaches Feedback

Has anyone stayed here recently?

The web-site looks great but there was only one review on Expedia and it was bad.

We are thinking of going this May.

Thanks!

It has been closed this winter, reopening some time this month. Check www.tripadvisor.com

Would not recommend 9 Beaches from personal experience. Check out the reviews on Trip Advisor.

Nelle, how about some details? When did you stay there? What were the problems?

Nelle, I can't find a review from you on Trip Advisor. They were very slow to post my last one, so that is probably the problem. In the meantime can you give a brief summary of the issues?

We keep getting some serious advertising (really very little from anywhere else on the island) from 9 Beaches - something tells me they might be having difficulty booking.

I recall reading somewhere (not sure where) that there were some definate problems, particularly with the farm located near the property (sea winds bringing the smell of manure over the property). But I would like to read the TA review.

If you do a search here, there is a glowing recommendation, from a first time poster -- sounds like an advert to me.

STW, you may be referring to one of my posts. I toured the property several years ago (when it was Danie's Head Resort) and found the aura from the farm pretty noticeable around some of the units. I went back this past Dec to see what changes 9Beaches had made and they were closed, so I am very curious about Nelle's report.
It is a great concept and the glass bottomed floors over the ocean are too cool, but .......
