2 sisters need your help!

We(late 20s & late 30s) want to go somewhere to catch up and relax, but don't know where to start. Out preference is...great beaches, great food, safe. Some shopping and some nightlife (live music, maybe a casino) would be great but not essential. A great day would consist of a walk on the beach, great lunch by the water, a massage, some water activities(even if it's just laying on the beach), then a great dinner, perhaps with some live (island or jazz) music. Hopefully, we're not the only non couple(ie,honeymooners) . I've been to Aruba, so would like to try someplace new. And, we're planning for early September. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!!! thanks

Are you thinking about only the Carribeans? I would suggest you to try some other region. If you check out the Asia forum, you would find all kinds of good things about Bali in Indonesia. It has every great thing you want, and it is cheaper than the carribeans. You might pay more for air. But the total cost is lower and upgraded.

@ that time of the year, alot of honeymooners or couples travel because kids are in school.

Perhaps you want to take a cruise or try Cancun.

What about Antigua? It has the white sand beaches, a choice of hotels, watersports and nightlife. Some places have afternoon tea, casino's, salon's and spa's for massages. There is shopping in St. John's and island excursions. You may want to stay away from the Catamaran Cruises as they sometimes bring in a lot of couples.

Try la Source Grenada or even their sister resort of Le Sport in St.Lucia.
They are all inclusive, but very upscale. Included in the inclusive price are daily spa treatments in addition to scuba diving, water skiing, fencing, archery and a host of other activities.

Both hotels cater to the growing singles market, so you will meet other singles as your self.

The dninig is superb with a la carte restaurants and there is evening entertainment.

I think you might both enjoy either resort.
