Whistler

I am debating whether to go to Whistler for Thanksgiving. The season opens on Thanksgiving Day, November 22nd. Is it worth it to go there? Is the snow too light?

You are aware that Canadian Thanksgiving was last month?
Who knows how much or how little snow will fall in the next 13 days? I sure don't.
Depending on where you are coming from, it might be wiser to go to a closer ski slope.

coming from Seattle, I meant the U.S. thanksgiving. I have 4 days off so I thought to take advantage of it nearby.

The snow's just as good at Mt. Hood and you keep you money in the USA and keep people working here.
Since noon yesterday we've had 4 or more inches of snow in the Oregon Cascades.
Sorry if I offended anyone in Canada.

Whistler is worth it, even if you don't plan on going skiing/snowboarding. It's a pretty place and worth checking out.

Whistler is far from my fave but beats the pants off anything south of the border.
