Weather forecast for Nova Scotia

Leaving for NS on August 28th...will be there until Sept. 5 in Halifax and Cape Breton. Can anyone help with likely weather/what to bring to wear? We were there last August and the weather was much warmer than I expected....I brought long sleeved tees, etc. and jeans and needed shorts & tee shirts!

It has been hot and humid, although you will need a jacket/sweater for the late evenings. Make sure you pack both, but I would take more shorts/t-shirts.

According to the Weather Office, it looks like the next five days will be in the upper 60s to low 70s (18-22).

Depending on what you're used to, that could be considered "brisk" or "hot and humid".

Well toedtoes, for us in the Sacramento Valley it would sure not be considered hot and humid would it?

Have a wonderful trip Peg.

It will likely be foggy

(bring pea soup for comparison)

(but no more than 3 ounces in clear plastic for your carry-on)

Well, I arrived here in Halifax yesterday and it's definitely wet. Not foggy, just wet and overcast.

But still it's wonderful!

Hope you have a great trip Peggi!

LI - this is definitely better than Sac valley!

Hey, there, Toedtoes: hope you have a great time...only sorry it didn't work out to be there to show you Pete's Fruitique/the Citadel/the North end gallery scene in Halifax-rather than just tell you about it!Sorry it is not glorious weather, but you may catch a break later this week!
