The best are in the Okanagon. It is about a four or five hour drive but well worth it. Mission Hill's Grand Reserve Chardoonay was judged the best in the world a few years ago. I prefer a Quails Gate Gevurtztraminer or a Gehringer Bros. Pinot Auxerois but anything from the Okanagon between Keromeos and Vernon is very good.

While there's a few wineries located in and around Greater Vancouver such as The Vineyard on Bowen Island (http://www.vineyard.bc.ca), Domaine De Chaberton (http://www.domainedechaberton.com/index.htm), the real place to go IS the Okanagan Valley where there's dozens of wineries located. Think of it as BC's Napa Valley, but with a lake.
