Vineyards around Vancouver

Any wine vineyards around Vancouver or Whistler?

The best are in the Okanagon. It is about a four or five hour drive but well worth it. Mission Hill's Grand Reserve Chardoonay was judged the best in the world a few years ago. I prefer a Quails Gate Gevurtztraminer or a Gehringer Bros. Pinot Auxerois but anything from the Okanagon between Keromeos and Vernon is very good.

Another small winery with restaurant and tours is SUMAC RIDGE, they also have some very nice wines.
A.M.

While there's a few wineries located in and around Greater Vancouver such as The Vineyard on Bowen Island (http://www.vineyard.bc.ca), Domaine De Chaberton (http://www.domainedechaberton.com/index.htm), the real place to go IS the Okanagan Valley where there's dozens of wineries located. Think of it as BC's Napa Valley, but with a lake. :)

These sites might be of help:

http://www.okwinetours.com/
http://www.bcwine.com/
http://www.winegrowers.bc.ca/
http://www.owfs.com/

There are new Vineyards opening up in the area regularly.
Of course that is the problem they are just opening and not always available for Touring.
As mentioned Domaine de Chaberton is the closest/oldest operation.
