Trendy Toronto NYE Venues

Hello~

I'm traveling to Tornoto with a group of friends for New Year's Eve. We're staying at the Soho Met. Hotel. Our group consists of 4 couples (4 girls and 4 guys)--all of us are in our early thirties. We're trying to figure out where we should go for New Year's Eve. Seven Lounge Pur Supper Club and Budo caught my eye. Can anyone tell me what these places are like? We're looking for places that are hip and trendy, but not crawling with college kids. We also don't like hip hop. We like dance/house music. Also, since those parties aren't all-inclusive we're trying to pick a place for dinner beforehand. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks~
Elisa

This website should definitely help you decide on where to dine - If I had to pick one that would be fun on NYE, I'd pick Rain (atmosphere and food just terrific). Sorry I can't help with the rest.

Drake is a good one. Also check out the Brandt House and 8 Below (I think that is it at least) on Brandt Street.
