Toronto Pearson to Whitby - best way to get there
I'm arriving at Toronto Pearson around mid day May 20, and need to get to Whitby - Brock Road and Taunton. Normally one of my family picks me up, but this time I'm on my own. I've checked limo prices, and they range from $73 to $118. The former is possible, but 118 seems pretty high. IN fact I have my doubts about the $73 quote, as several other services seem a lot higher.
It's a long time since I lived in Toronto and I wondered if there were other ways to get out to Whitby. There used to be a bus to Union Station, where I could get a GO train to Whitby, but then I'd need a taxi to get to my destination. Since I'll be on my own with my luggage, I don't want this part to be too difficult.
Any suggestions, or do I just have to bit the bullet and pay up?

I think you have touched all the bases here. The bus from the airport can take you to the Royal York Hotel, just across from Union station. Approxinate cost $15. Go train to Whitby is around $15 also. Then there is the taxi to your destination. It is obviously cheaper to do all this, but the time involved is substantial. Your call!1
