Tofino B&B Recommendations

Visiting Tofino for two nights in August. Just getting around to booking accommodations now. I've searched through existing threads here and was surprised about how few actual recommendations there were for B&Bs in the area. So, if you have any specific suggestions, please don't hesitate to share.

Thanks!

This may not be to everyone's taste, but a few years ago we stayed near Tofino on a houseboat docked at Hot Springs Cove. You can get there via water taxi from Tofino; we actually flew back via float plane from the dock. Try www.innchanter.com. We enjoyed it very much.

I'd try any B&B on Chesterman Beach Road or Lynn Beach Road. We've stayed at several in that area. The only bad experience we had was at a B&B (actually just a B...there was no breakfast) called Spindrift.

You might be SOL-prepaid 3 night minimums are industry standard in that part of the Island.
Be prepared to compromise.

Two years ago we stayed at Crab Dock guest house at Tofino and can recommend it. Great location, friendly hosts and good accommodation. Their website is www.crabdock.dom

We found Cable Cove Inn (which does have a 3 night stay requirement)http://www.cablecoveinn.com/ or try Inn at Tough City (which does not require a 3 night stay)
http://www.toughcity.com/
Good Luck
