Porches on the Towpath B&B New Hope, PA -opinions?

I want to give my 25 year old (NYC) nephew a gift certificate to a B&B in the New Hope PA - Lambertville NJ area. Ideally I want the Inn to be in walking distance to the shops & restaurants. I came across the Porches on the Towpath web site, however, I can't find anyone who has been there, or, who knows this place -- any input or recommendations for another B&B I sure would appreciate!

Thanks!

I live in Lambertville and have never stayed there but it is in a nice location. I took a quick look at the comments on tripadvisor.com and this B&B received many good reviews. I dont think you will go wrong with this place.

take a look

NJRIVERCHICK!
Just wanted to say thanks! My nephew lives in Manhattan, he's in to antiques, restaurants, etc... I thought this would be just close enough to be a cool gift with out putting him through the burdon of a long drive...and he's never stayed at a B&B.

I work at Haas Gallery in Lambertville and just had a woman in who stayed at Porches on the Towpath and absolutely RAVED about it. She said the owners are super friendly and the decor is done to the nine's. The location is perfect - it sits on the canal, has privacy, but is also close to the shops.

It sounds like you can't lose with this choice!
