Ste. Anne's Inn: We will NEVER go back!
Hello. Just wondering what kind of experience you have had at this inn. I have heard nothing but good reviews and I really can't believe it since our experience was horrible. Before you read this, realize that we are very good guests. We did nothing but cheerfully try to resolve each situation....We checked out the inn in July for one night and enjoyed it although they questioned the rate we had been quoted. No problem. So we booked our HONEYMOON in October complete with spa services. Very expensive four days. Several things happened. We had arranged to have breakfast served in our room every day (4) which they forgot every day. We missed breakfast the first day, and I had to go out to remind them at the end of breakfast each day to bring us something. A couple was there for thier anniversary and they baked them a cake (they had not requested it). We had no recognition of our honeymoon. The aromatherapy steam room had run out of aromatherapy oil so we nicely asked Jim, the owner for more and he was very rude to us about it. At one point, we mentioned we were on our honeymoon and he said "Oh". Many other things happened like running out of food choices on the menu but we stayed on. At the end, we filled out the comment card (kindly) with our concerns and we never received a response. I guess they are just getting too successful...It's a shame, for if we enjoyed ourselves, we would have returned every year for our anniversary but we will go somewhere else. What has been your experience???

Kelly,
I am really surprised that you had such a bad experience. I have been to Ste. Anne's on three separate occassions over the last four years, and absolutely loved it. I never received anything but the best possible service, and the food and spa treatments were divine. I have not been since they opened the new recreation facility. Perhaps your stay last fall overlapped with the construction, etc., and staff were overloaded. Not that that is an excuse.

I hope that your problems were an anomoly - I love it there!
