Solo Senior lady needs info about Osoyoos-Penticton area for summer trip.
Moved to Omak WA.year ago after 60 years in California ...Not fond of Eastern WA..would like to take trip "north" for 1-
2 weeks..just for change of scene. In years past been to Vancouver , Lake Louise, Banff..beautiful but "busy"
Open to suggestions about things to do.
Maybe as far as Kelowna???

You can find good information at Hello BC website.
Are you driving? The Okanagan valley has many nice spots to stay by the lake, visit wineries etc. Kelowna is quite large now, depending on what you like to see and do it has quite a bit to offer, or may be too busy for you.
Penticton and the Naramata bench in particular are lovely quite spots with nice views, quaint small wineries and parks.
