Quebec Ice Hotel...stayed there?

We're going to Quebec in late February and are curious about staying in the Ice Hotel for a night or two. I already used the search function here but only turned up postings from people who were also considering it (none for those who have stayed there).

Have any of you actually stayed there? Comments?

Thanks,

Lisa (I'm Not)

Lisa,

Watching 'Sunday Morning' this week and Bill Geist did a piece on an Ice Hotel; not sure if it was this one in Quebec. The experience doesn't appeal to me, and in particular what I thought would be a real drag was having to get up in middle of night to use the facilities -- a porta-pottie in a small alcove off your room.
my parents made reservations to stay at the ice hotel while visiting me in quebec last year, but after arriving, they decided to stay somewhere else. they thought it was too cold, and too expensive for a place where you have to use a porta-potty.
