Our first snowfall in Montreal this winter

Hi there
For those interested in Montreal you might want to take a look at my light-hearted blog, Dear England Love Canada, from the city. I have some pics of our first snowfall and some rants about people dressing in inappropriate clothing.
Why not drop by and say hello in the comments section?
Cheers
Anne

I just glanced at your blog and pictures! Loved what I have seen so far. I went to Montreal last summer and thought it would be a great place to live.

Hi Anne,

Thanks for this humorous look at the city I've called home for 13 years now. BTW, I find jeans are ok when it gets to those super-cold temperatures, just better have longjohns on underneath.

By the way, if you enjoyed that trip up to Gaspe by train, you may also enjoy taking VIA Rail's Halifax branch route too at some point. Glad you seem to be making the most of your Canadian experience.

Best wishes, Daniel

Thanks kkukura and Daniel. Thermal underwear can get you a long way, it's true. Yes it is a great city to live in despite all my complaining. In some ways I almost think winter is the most fun season though a morning swim in the lake probably takes the biscuit.
Cheers
Anne

Light sprinkling of the white stuff in Victoria today. High is plus 2 with 40K gusts. Now where did I leave those gloves.

Well, I'm in that "other Alberta city" and yes, we did get snow this week. Since I had been doing my snow dance since the end of October, I'm quite happy to see it. Going skiing tomorrow...

Hope you all have lots of the white stuff by now. We had around 35cm this week.
