Right on!

Well Air Canada just started a Concorde service from Ottawa to Quebec City and then moving on to Charlottetown direct, but you will have to book ahead, cause its always full. Total flight time is about 8 minutes.

Alternatively I hear there is a good Transporter Beam service these days too. Total travel time 1-2 seconds depending on the bandwith traffic.

If you are 'planning' the trip, look at a map & figure the route that is what you want. 'Wondering' about something isn't planning. By the way, it can be done in about 15 hours or less, driving.

You can drive it in one day! There is a fee of around 40 $ to cross the pei bridge on the way back. The bridge is pretty cool!

I drove from Montreal to PEI and it takes about 12 hours minimum so you have to add 3 more hours from Ottawa.

Stopping in Quebec City is a great idea. Take time to visit for a day and leave for PEI the next day going thru New Brunswick (Edmunston - St-John)

Have a great trip!
