One night in Montreal
So I am going to Montreal this weekend for two days and a night. I have never been to this city before and I was wondering if anyone had any must recomendations on some must see locations or venues. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

Well I am 20 years old. I was hoping to fit in a museum and a casino during this trip and I'm also looking for some good food for a reasonable price. I hope that is a little more specific for some advice. Thanks

The Musée des beaux arts currently hosts an exhibit on the streamline style as well as one on Emily Carr, a Canadian painting icon and an "invited member" to some extent of Canadian famed "Group of Seven".
As for eating for a reasonable price, it all depends what "reasonable" means to you. For the best steal, I suggest L'Académie (4051 St-Denis, 849-2249. Here's the link the their menu in French http://www.lacademie.ca/MenuStDenis.pdf but they also have a daily Table d'Hôte I believe.
A bit pricer would be the always perfect L'Express

Coco Rico (3907 St-Laurent, 849-5554) serves exquisite roasted
And, of course, you can't no go to Schwartz’s (3895 St-Laurent, 842-4813)

Hey pschultz32,
As a twenty-something myself I'm sure you'd be interested in checking out some of the great shopping that Montreal has to offer. The Eaton Center, on St Catherine street is a big mall with tons of shops, it also connects via underground tunnels to several other shopping complexes such as La Cathedrale, Place Montreal Trust and Cours Mont Royal.
As far as reasonable dining options you will find sooo many in montreal. I love Guido and Angelina's, they have 2 locations on St Catherine st. One is near Atwater in the AMC complex and the other is directly across from the Eaton Center. They serve good italian food, large portions and decent prices. If you're looking for fastfood, try AMIR it's fast-food lebanese and there are quite a few scattered around the city, great shish taouk and good prices.
I wouldn't miss Old Montreal and the Old Port area...at night its so fun to walk around and hang out down there, there are tons of restaurants and tons of vendors out selling unique jewlery and stuff. Be sure to grab a Queue de Castor (beaver tail) which is a fried dough that you can dress with tons of toppings from chocolate to pepporoni. There's a stand that sells them in Old Montreal right across from the water.
