Now where shall we have lunch?

No, not you and I, sweetie, although that's a lovely idea for another time.

No, we have friends coming to visit from the US for Thanksgiving weekend (ours). One of the things we all want to do is go to the ROM and Saturday's the perfect day for it. But where shall we have lunch?

I want somewhere within a nice walk of the ROM and we'll probably do the Yorkville walk anyway so it might as well be around there. I'm considering:

- Jamie Kennedy at the Gardiner
- 5C at the ROM
- the Greg Couillard place in the courtyard at Hazelton Lanes
- the Studio Cafe at the Four Seasons

I haven't been to any of these except for the Studio Cafe. What do you think of these? Got any other suggestions? It doesn't have to be fancy or expensive but nice and good. They always take us to great places in D.C.

Does the (former name) Park Plaza up on the roof serve meals? Panorama at Manulife definitely does.

Great views in both and it's supposed to be 26C Saturday.

Yes, sorry, I am talking about Toronto but not till Canadian T'giving weekend, although high up is a good idea -- the view might be even prettier then with the colours changing.

I'm going to check out the Panorama and the Park Hyatt (that's the new name). Thanks Sally.

Any other suggestions or comments on the ones I've mentioned?

Jana was up at the top of the Park Hyatt (the old Park Plaza) the other day, and reports there's a limited menu.

But double check on a Saturday at noon.

I'll check it out, thanks. Good thought on the high places.
