One of the best restaurants I have ever been to in the WORLD, and I can promise you I have been to a few is Queue De Cheval (http://www.queuedecheval.com/). This is a steak restaurant and definately worth a visit, even if you don't like steak, the food is amazing, it is a little pricey for Montreal, but cheap by other cities/countries standards. I urge all of you to try this restaurant, and please e-mail me and let me know what you think ([email protected]). No trip to Montreal is complete without a visit to this restaurant, am I getting the msg accross? It is located next to the Sheraton on Rene Leveque (I think). Reservations essential. Be sure to order the pickles, it will bring a smile to your face!!!

Hello!
I'm traveling with my girlfriend to montreal next week.

I was hoping that someone could share some good places to eat as well.

I'm looking for a local flare - something that represents true montreal culture, it doesn't have to be fancy but we're hoping for some good food!

Please let us know!

Thanks!
jp
