Kid friendly restaurants in Vancouver?
Will have a few days in Vancouver in Dec with 8 and 10 year olds. Staying at the Four Seasons ( I know...ooooooh...but got an INCREDIBLE rate!!) so looking for restaurants closeby that might be fun for kids?? Like a pub sort of atmosphere, maybe music, but kids welcome??? Was told it's a great area around there, but probably won't be catching most meals at the hotel!!

There are tons of kid-friendly restaurants within a short walking radius of your hotel, it'll be hard to know where to even start.
Do your kids like Japanaese food? I immediately thought of Tsunami Sushi, which is on Robson just west of Burrard (a 5 minute walk from your hotel). It's located upstairs from the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Co/El-Kartel clothing boutique, but essentially they have little plates of sushi (among other things) floating around on little boats. That's always fun for kids in the 8-10 range. Even if they don't eat sushi, there's always other things you can order there (teriyaki, tempura, etc).

The sushi conveyor belt could certainly be fun.
I can't think of any restaurant that is kid-unfriendly, but I'm not sure if you are likely to get a "fun" restaurant with live music in the heart of the business district.
For example, the Italian restaurant I went to on Saturday night was a pleasant family-friendly place with live music, but it was in east Vancouver.

The website http://www.vancouverrestaurants.com has a bunch of listings of Vancouver Restaurants, I'm sure you could find something on there.

I know it's kinda late for an answer but I'll just say it anyway for anyone who might find it useful still.
Try Vancouver Aquarium. They have a mini restaurant on site and your kids will be thrilled.
Also check www.littletots.ca. They show you a map and you'll most probably be able to find other kids attractions in the area that have restaurants on site.

I think Legendary Noodle is great fun for kids of all ages. You get to watch noodles being hand-pulled! The food is cheap and great.
There is a cupcake place nearby and I think there might even be bubble tea available in walking distance.
