Thank you Scarlett. I think most big cities are the same, as far as dress code. As long as people are dressed with taste and clean, then they will fit in.
Foodiechan, when I travel in the summer, I find black way too hot and drab for the heat. The last time I was in NYC it was extremely hot, and I sure am glad I wasn't in black.
However, since I am going in cooler weather this trip, I may wear black. On the other hand I just might be a devil and wear navy! ( OR whatever!)

Ilive in Montreal for 20 years now!!!
I did travel over the planet,but beside the cold winter, i do think
Montreal & Quebec are the best place
to live...
& I do feel Canadians &quebecois are the most humanist people whatever the
language barriers.
It is simple...
We like people...whereever they come from...
And always think than americans and Canadians are the same family!!!
Just come And feel the atmosphere...
I am sure you will love it.
It is a privilege to live here...
