Internet Cafes in Montreal

Hi,

I'm debating whether bringing my laptop to Montreal for a weeklong trip next week.

If I do'nt bring my computer, are there internet cafes available in the city?

I'm actually renting a room at the residence halls of the University of Montreal. Does anyone know if there are computers available to the general public in the libraries there?

Thanks!

The Barnes and Noble on rue St Catherine has a cafe with internet upstairs.
On rue Peel ( I think) close to Sherbrook is a small internet cafe used by the students all the time.
There are probably many more since our last visit..hope this helps

Barnes and Noble on Ste Catherine? Are you sure? I didn't think that it operated in Canada.

I found this when looking over my old Montreal notes:
Internet cafe list:

Cyber Stanley
1437 Rue Stanley,
Montréal,
www.cyberstanley.com

Café Internet X-Net
6102 Sherbrooke Rue Ouest,

(514)484-6161

Cyber-Tea Café
206 Beaubien Rue East,

(514)270-4599

Internet Zone
1839 Sainte-Catherine Rue Ouest,
Montréal
(514)939-4686

lavendrye, it is somewhere near Ogilvy Dept store. On a corner I think
