Hotels in Toronto
My wife and I decided to make the trip to Boston, Montreal and Toronto on our own. In this case the Forum is to Toronto and want to know if we can advise hotels in this city in the central area we can walk to the most crowded places, bars, shops, etc. The rest we'll do the bus in Hop Hop off. We will be only two days there. No luxury but clean and nice hotel "
Thank you friends.

Are you driving? Prepare for very high parking prices in both cities, and don't use the car to get around. The municipal transit authorities are the visitor's friend.

Hotel prices go up and down depending on special events. Last week, for instance, hotels in Toronto's core charged a hefty premium because of the annual miners-and-prospectors convention (who knew?) The jazz festival in Montreal (early July) and film festival in Toronto (early September) inflate room rates substantially. There are plenty more. So shop as early as you can, and shop around.
